Shezan Childrens Trust

The aim and objective of this organisation is to offer hope and a future to those orphans, the infirm, the destitute, those inflicted with leprosy and all in need in those areas  that modern civilisation somehow have overlooked. This organisation is not religious -based and includes all regardless of religion, race, colour, caste or gender.

Although our objective is to accomplish the above, the main priority will be to focus on the education, both academic and skill-base of the orphaned children.

Today our Trust have expanded the original "home" for orphans with and additional two story building and now have twenty-two boys and seven girls. Some of the girls reside in a convent where they are looked after and the funds we provide pays for their education and full boarding. Some of the other adopted girls are with relatives in the villages but they are all constantly monitored to ensure compliance of our objectives  centered around education.

We provide full boarding and lodging for the boys in our new building, books, uniforms and all essentials of a family environment.

We have also commenced an additional project - Meals on Wheels - for the poor, homeless, lepers and other persons of advanced age.
The first meal will be given on December 25, 2007. after which we intend to supply a daily lunch for those in need.

We also intend the use the one story building now vacated by our boys to house some of the elderly people who are unable to care for themselves.

"One hundred percent of all funds" donated are used for the purposes intended and thus far all funding are provided from the Shezan Trust in the USA with perhaps less than 3% from other sources. The monthly cost per child is approximately  U.S.Dollars $50.00 per child. The Trust is a registered organisation with the  Federal Government of the USA.
